Yoga for Self Regulation, Healing, and Resiliency
Somatic Yoga is a body based, Movement practise to anchor the mind into the vibrant aliveness of the body. The pull of our busy planning/thinking mind is very strong and Habitual. Coming home to the wisdom of the body takes practise, again and again, discovering the wisdom that lives in you.
Theres a saying by Albert Einstein ” You can’t solve a problem with the same mind that created it.” Your mind is powerful, both at solving and creating problems. Unless we are willing to step beyond our own limiting Ideas and beliefs we will feel stuck.
Your Mind does not exist in Isolation, Brain and body were never really two things. Our nervous system is the program that runs the holistic experience of our humanness. Chronic stress, past Conditioning and Trauma, cause glitches in the efficiency of your nervous system. This is commonly called Dysregulation, these glitches can lead to a whole host of physical and mental Challenges. Somatic Yoga can Provide the missing link for deep healing.
